VR/AR BIM Visualization

Some things you only understand by standing inside them. Powerkh turns your BIM models into immersive VR walkthroughs and AR overlays for design review, client presentation, and coordination, so decisions get made at full scale before construction begins.

VR & AR BIM Visualization Services

A VR walkthrough is an interactive, full-scale experience that lets viewers move through a building model in virtual reality, while AR overlays place that model onto the real world through a device. Both are built from BIM geometry to support design review, client presentation, and coordination.

Immersive visualization closes the gap between a model on a screen and the real experience of a space. In VR, a client or design team can walk a building at true scale, judging ceiling heights, sightlines, and proportions that plans and renders flatten. In AR, a proposed design can be overlaid onto an existing site or a physical model, making coordination clashes and spatial fit obvious. Both turn abstract geometry into something people can step into and react to, which speeds decisions and reduces late-stage surprises.

Powerkh has delivered 400+ BIM and VDC projects for US, UK, and EU clients since 2018, and we build immersive experiences straight from that BIM foundation. We take your Revit or coordinated model, prepare materials, lighting, and interactivity, and produce real-time VR walkthroughs, AR overlays, and interactive presentations. We produce the VR and AR-ready experiences and models; you run them on your own headset or device. We work off-site, price by the hour with a free quote, deliver ready to present, and sign an NDA on request.

Why Choose Powerkh for Immersive Visualization

Built from your BIM

We generate immersive experiences from your Revit or coordinated model, so what you walk through matches the real, current design.

Real-time and interactive

Navigable real-time scenes let viewers explore freely, switch options, and toggle layers rather than watch a fixed animation.

Review and presentation in one

The same experience serves internal coordination, client sign-off, and stakeholder engagement, getting more from one production.

Free quote, pay after delivery

You get an hourly estimate before we start and pay only once the experience is delivered, with an NDA on request.

Our VR & AR Services

VR design review

Full-scale virtual walkthroughs for design teams to judge space, proportion, and detail and catch issues before construction.

VR client presentations

Polished immersive experiences that let clients and investors experience a scheme at true scale and give confident sign-off.

AR model overlays

Augmented reality overlays that place a proposed design onto an existing site or physical model for coordination and context.

Interactive real-time scenes

Navigable scenes with switchable materials, options, and layers for exploratory review and design comparison.

Coordination walkthroughs

Immersive views of federated models that make spatial clashes and constructability issues obvious to the whole team.

Design option comparison

Side-by-side immersive variants so stakeholders can experience and compare alternatives before committing to one.

Our VR/AR Process

  1. Scope and quote

We review your model, target devices, and the experience you need, agree scope and interactivity, and provide a free quote.

  2. Model preparation

We import and optimize your BIM geometry, apply materials and lighting, and prepare it for smooth real-time performance.

  3. Experience build

We set up navigation, interactivity, and any option toggles or AR anchoring to create the VR or AR experience.

  4. Review and refinement

We share a build for your feedback and refine performance, visuals, and interaction so it presents smoothly on your hardware.

  5. Delivery and handover

You receive the packaged experience ready to run on your headset or device, with a round of revisions included.

FAQ

What do you need to start a VR or AR project?

A 3D model, ideally a Revit or coordinated BIM model, plus the views or areas to feature, references for materials and mood, and the headset or device you will present on. Knowing your target hardware lets us tune performance so the experience runs smoothly.

Do we need our own VR headset or AR device?

Yes. We produce the VR and AR-ready experiences and models, and you run them on your own headset or device. We build to your target hardware, whether a tethered PC headset, a standalone unit, or a tablet or phone for AR, so it performs well on the equipment you have.

Can you build the experience directly from our Revit model?

Yes. We work natively from BIM and prepare the experience straight from your Revit or coordinated geometry. Because it links back to the model, design updates can flow into a revised experience without rebuilding everything from scratch.

What is the difference between VR and AR for our project?

VR immerses viewers fully in the model at true scale through a headset, ideal for walkthroughs and reviews of unbuilt spaces. AR overlays the model onto the real world through a device, ideal for checking fit and coordination on an existing site. We can deliver either or both.

How much does VR or AR visualization cost?

Powerkh uses hourly pricing. After reviewing your model, target devices, and the interactivity you need, we provide a free quote with accurate hour estimates, and you pay only after we deliver the experience. We sign an NDA on request.
